 Job Description:

 IOANID High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated A-Level Psychology Teacher to join our experienced teaching team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Psychology to students preparing for their A-Level examinations. This role requires a deep understanding of psychological theories, research methods, and their practical applications, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in A-Level Psychology.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the academic standards and requirements of the Cambridge A-Level examinations.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations, and classroom participation.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Support students in their preparation for university applications and career planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Psychology at the A-Level or equivalent and successful outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological theories, research methods, and contemporary issues in psychology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
