The IOANID International High School has joined the project for informing and educating teenagers and young people about acne – „THE MANIFESTO FOR NORMALITY AND WELL-BEING.” Be well with yourself, be well with your skin. This social responsibility project was initiated in France, but Romania is the first country where started. Its main objective is strictly related to educating and raising awareness among children and adolescents regarding acne. Yes, acne is one of the most common skin conditions, which is why „THE MANIFESTO FOR NORMALITY AND WELL-BEING” believes that acne should not be stigmatized but should be viewed like any other condition that can be managed through a strict skincare routine. In our institution, the campaign took place on Friday, September 23, during school hours (from 14:00 to 14:45), when high school students received a visit from a team of doctors and dermatology specialists. They engaged in dynamic discussions with the students about how to keep acne and its manifestations under control (both the visible and emotional aspects). In Romania, the campaign was supported by the dermocosmetics brand Uriage.
